Analytics Engines are pleased to announce that they have been nominated for two awards as part of this year’s Analytics Institute Analytics & AI Awards.
The Analytics Institute of Ireland exists to support the Data Science and Analytics sector. They do this by providing a platform for our members to share insights and expertise, to collaborate and build networks in the industry, and to foster innovation in the sector.
Earlier this year, Analytics Engines took part in a webinar hosted by the Analytics Institute of Ireland. The presentation, titled Finding Value in the Noise, explored the growing demand for data analytics solutions and considered how “raw” data can provide organisations with insight into the complex relationships that exist in siloed datasets.
Leader of the Year
Analytics Engines Lead Data Scientist, Liam Brannigan has been nominated for Data Analytics Leader of the Year.
Liam, who joined the Analytics Engines team in 2018, has made significant contributions to the data analytics space, both as a representative of Analytics Engines and in a personal capacity.

Public Sector Analytics
Analytics Engines work supporting Innovate UK in response to unique challenges presented by the COVID-19 Pandemic has been nominated for the Public Sector Analytics Award.
Used by Innovate UK since 2018, our text analytics and fraud detection product ‘Cobalt Grant Manager’ helped the organisation to manage the Covid funding competition and so help to drive a national business-led response to the pandemic.
The solution enabled the Innovate UK team to perform critical duplicate checks, identify potential fraudulent submissions, as well as match complex applications to a relevant application assessor for qualitative review within an extremely tight timeframe.
